How HeyStar works
HeyStar connects customers, creators and businesses through clear requests, secure Stripe payments, tracked delivery and video review.
For customers
Use HeyStar for birthdays, weddings, congratulations, encouragement, surprises and other moments.
Browse creators by category and open a profile to review their price, delivery time, services and customer reviews.
Book a personal message for someone special, or create a structured business brief for promotional content.
Tell the creator who the video is for, what to say and which details matter. Business orders also include campaign goals, scripts and usage rights.
Complete payment through Stripe. Your order is sent to the creator only after the payment has been confirmed.
Follow each status from your dashboard while the creator accepts, records and submits the video.
Watch the finished video on HeyStar. Once everything looks good, accept it and leave a rating and short review.
For business
Business requests are separate from personal messages. They include commercial usage, campaign details and optional creator social posting.
Explore HeyStar BusinessDescribe the business, campaign goal, preferred tone, filming requirements, talking points and required lines.
A 15-day business license is included. Longer usage periods can be selected when the creator offers them.
If enabled by the creator, brands can also purchase publishing on supported creator social channels.
The checkout shows the creator service, license extensions, social posting and service fee before payment.
For creators
Creators decide what they offer, which requests to accept and how their profile appears publicly.
Add your public name, avatar, category, bio, services, prices and the types of requests you want to receive.
Enable personal videos, business videos or both. You can pause either service whenever you need a break.
Only successfully paid orders appear in your received orders. Review every brief before accepting it.
Accept requests you can complete. If you reject one, choose a clear reason so the customer understands what happened.
Record the requested video and upload it through the creator dashboard before the displayed deadline.
The customer reviews the submitted video. After acceptance, the order is completed and eligible earnings move through the wallet flow.
Order tracking
The order exists, but Stripe has not confirmed payment yet.
The payment was not completed. The creator cannot see or accept this order.
Payment is confirmed and the creator can review the request.
The creator accepted the order and can begin recording.
The creator is actively preparing the video.
The video has been uploaded and is ready for the customer to review.
The customer accepted the video and the order is finished.
The order did not continue. Support and refund handling depend on the final status.
Secure payments
Stripe securely processes payment details, while HeyStar confirms creator prices, selected add-ons and service fees before your order is placed.
Privacy and video access
Customers can request a private personal video. Private videos remain restricted to authorized viewers; public videos may be used in the creator's review and discovery experience.
Support
Contact support for refunds, inappropriate requests, missed deadlines, payment disputes or content that does not follow the agreed request.
Questions
The creator receives the request only after Stripe confirms a successful payment.
Personal orders normally have a seven-day deadline unless eligible 24-hour delivery is selected. Business orders use the standard delivery period shown during booking.
Yes. Creators can reject requests they cannot complete and must provide a reason. Refund processing can then be handled through the platform support flow.
Submitted videos open on HeyStar. Private videos are available only to authorized viewers, while public videos may also appear with reviews.
For payment disputes, policy questions or refund requests, contact HeyStar support instead of completing the order.
Paid order earnings are held while the order is active. After successful completion, eligible funds move to the creator's available balance.
